British Alfa tuner Autodelta has presented its new engine remap program for the Alfa Brera, Spider and the 159 3.2 V6 Q4, giving the sports cars even more power and torque. After the new Alfa Romeo 3.2 JTS engine's ECU is reprogrammed, its power output is increased from 260 to 274 bhp and the torque rises by 23 lb-ft (32 Nm).
Auto news is reporting that the engine tuning program not only increases power output, but also resolves some problems with inferior fuels and harsh driving environments. Thus, the remapping increases vehicle's fuel efficiency by 5 per cent and tackles pre-ignition issues, experienced by some drivers in Greece and other markets were it's hard to find a decent gas station.
The program is now available at Autodelta's Park Royal, London Headquarters at a cost of £395.00 + vat.
